Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American actress, model TV host, comic and host. Panganiban is regarded as the queen of Drama by different media. She was diagnosed with double pneumonia caused by an aggressive strep-pneumococcal bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was able to place her on ECMO assistance for lifesaving treatments. Her condition became severe and she suffering organ failure, including kidneys which did not heal. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis changed her life to a new normal. After spending 80 consecutive days in the hospital, from death to recovery, she finally made it home but her life was forever changed. After a year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was ready for the biggest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. The kidney that would be donated to her came from her mom. Angelica Hale and her mother underwent a kidney transplantation in Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th, 2013. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person ever since.
